My 7 year old daughter has attended the school since she was 2.5 years and has come on so much in that time. She has become more confident academically and socially, and is now able to read simple sentences and write quite neatly for a child of her age.
As a former teacher myself, I feel confident sending her to Saville House knowing that she will receive a good education. I am surprised by other reviews suggesting things to the contrary of this, as I regularly have to stand in the school playground for a while after collecting my daughter whilst she runs around playing with her friends, not wanting to leave because she is so happy. She has received extra support where needed and is progressing very well. I would recommend the school to anybody looking for a great place to send their child, and wouldn't send her anywhere else.

It's a shame that bitter parents feel it necessary to write such comments. My experience of the school is very positive, and I have no connections with the owners or staff. Children are supported to achieve to and beyond their potential in different & innovative ways, and no, the school isn't a slave to one particular way of doing things. I think that's a positive thing! As parents we want our children to enjoy school at this age, and the parents who choose Saville House do so not to push their children but to ensure they turn into well rounded little people. And they certainly do! Impeccable manners, confidence and social skills far in advance of many their age is as important as 'scores'. (Though these are pretty good too!) I would suggest that prospective parents see for themselves and visit the school. I did, and it took me about 5 minutes to decide it was the right environment!

I have had over 15 years experience as a parent at Saville House School. Today I attended the final prizegiving for my youngest child before they move on to senior school in September. Both children have thrived and exceeded their potential thanks to the fabulous teaching staff at this school. Each child is valued and encouraged to develop as an individual and everywhere they go people admire them for the skills they have learned, their immaculate manners, their work ethic and above all their compassion and empathy for others. They leave this school after 8 years as wonderfully rounded shining examples of what young people should be. I would whole heartedly recommend this school to anyone, in fact my daughter has been in tears most of today as she is so sad to be leaving her "school family" as this is where she feels she belongs and that is a testament to the wonderful, caring and nurturing environment that the school promotes. I wish I had had this opportunity as a child!
